RRB Technician Exam 2024:-
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued tentative exam date for Technician (Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3) in October to November 2024. The exact examination date will be available on the official website at rrbapply.gov.in or indianrailways.gov.in. The candidates must visit website continuously for updates. There will be 100 questions which contains 100 Marks (01 marks for each question). The exam pattern, marking scheme will be seperate for both (Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3). The candidates who will pass the CBT examination will be eligible for the documents verification and then medical examination. There will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer. Education Qualification:-
Candidates must require specific eligibility criteria especially educational qualification. The following RRB Technician Education Qualification is required.
- RRB Technician Grade 1: Candidates must have bachelor’s in Physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation from any recognised university.
- (OR) B. SC in a combination of any sub_stream of basic streams of physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation.
- (OR) Three years diploma in engineering in the above basic streams in combination of any of above basic streams.
- (OR) Degree in engineering in the above basic streams of in combination.
- RRB Technician Grade 3: Candidates must have passed matriculation/ SSLC+ ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/ SCVT in the trade of forget and heat treater/ Foundryman/ Pattern Maker/ Moulder (Refractory).
- (OR) Matriculation/ SSLC + course completed act in apprenticeship in the related trades.

- There will be Computer Based Test (CBT) online.
