RPF SI Tier I Exam 2024:-

There shall be online computer based test (CBT). Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CBT shall will be eligible for next rounds of selection process i.e; Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Documents Verification (DV). There will be negative marking of 1/3rd for each wrong answer in CBT. Candidates shall not bring things like; communication devices and electronic gadgets (mobile phones, bluetooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, smart watches etc. Along with it, bangles, chains, bracelets and other electronic devices. After CBT exam, the authorities will be releasing RPF SI Merit List which contains names of all candidates. Along with it, the cut off marks will be available against candidates name. RPF SI Tier I Exam Pattern 2024:-

The standard of examination will be graduation level.
There are total 100 questions which a candidate have to complete in 90 minutes.
There shall be negative marking of 1/3rd for each wrong answer
Normalization of marks will be done for CBTs will take place in multiple shifts.
Minimum Pass Percentage for eligibility: UR, EwS, and OBC- NCL- 35%, SC/ ST – 30%.
The marks score in CBT shall be counting for shortlisting of candidates for further stages of this recruitment process.

RPF SI PET/ PST 2024:-

Candidates who will pass RPF Tier I Exam on the basis of their performance in CBT shall be eligible for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test. The document verification will be completing at final stage. There will be no Physical Efficiency Test for Ex – servicemen, however they’ll have to undergo Physical Measurement Test. If Vacancies of female and ex servicemen are not filed up after second round of PET/ PMT vacant posts will be filled up by respective category male candidates. Passing PET mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature. The following criteria is applicable.

For 1600/ 800 meters event only one chance will be there.
For long jump/ high jump the candidates will get 2 chances.
Ex servicemen shall be exempted from PET, however, they will have to undergo PMT.
A candidate must qualify all tests as per above norms to be eligible for consideration.
